I am originally from the GREAT state of Texas! I went to school at Texas A&M to major in meteorology. As a kid I was always preoccupied with the thunderstorms, tornadoes, hurricanes and any weather.
I moved to LA in 2009 to attend UCLA to pursue my masters in Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences. After that I spent a few years researching how climate change affects the habitats of fish and crabs in the ocean. I recently graduated from the UCLA IMPACT teacher education program. Now I have four periods of 6th grade integrated science, as well as an Environmental Science elective. There are a lot of things I like to do in my free time! During football season, I like to spend all day Saturday watching college football, but especially the Texas A&M Aggies. When I am not watching football, I try to go to the beach every weekend during the summer. You can also find me hiking or camping at one of the local trails or various campsites throughout California. |
